Having a hard time finishing your holiday shopping? Here’s a thought. How about getting your sister a goat. Maybe a bag of manure for your best friend, or a can of worms for your mom. . . and you don’t even have to fight for a parking space at the mall! All you have to do is visit Oxfam America Unwrapped.
The best part? You don’t have to pay any outrageous shipping fees, because Oxfam will deliver the items to the places where they’re needed most. The “giftee” will get a lovely card and you’ll the satisfaction of knowing that you helped feed a child somewhere in the world.
It doesn’t take much to make a difference to a child who is living poverty. For under $25 dollars you can buy soap, blankets, seeds, and books (because kids need food for their minds as well as their tummies.) Or ask your family and friends to chip in and buy a village a pair of sheep for only $90.
Does your dad really need another clever coffee mug? Send him a bag of manure instead. Invest in the future of the world, visit Oxfam America Unwrapped.
