Fashionably Green: Review – The “Write It Down” Series from Journals Unlimited
GlobalShift Guest | Dec 11, 2009 | Comments 4
I’ve kept a number of journals and diaries over the years. I always loved that I could put myself out there entirely to an unbiased and impartial observer and look back and see the progresses I’d made.
There were always two downsides to my journal up-keep, however. One was that I would write down everything that crossed my mind as I thought of it. My pages would come across so scrambled that I would tire myself out and give up, just to start a new one months later. The other hitch was that my older sister spent much of her teenage years reading my childhood diaries.
This is where the “Write It Down” Series from Journals Unlimited comes in. There is no lock to keep out your snooping siblings, but the chance to embarrass yourself is substantially decreased through its guidance. I was lucky enough to obtain a sample and spent a few days recording into it in order to be able to give a truthful and helpful review of the product. Well, it was perfect for me. I know I’m not the only person who has become frustrated with keeping a journal and that feeling of frustration goes out the window with the “Write It Down” Journal.
The “Write It Down” Journal guides you by suggested phrases that prompt you to want to write. It keeps you focused on things that will become important to you later and forces you to learn to record relevant details.
The journal itself is printed in the USA on acid free recycled paper with a very durable hard cover. It is user friendly for any type of enthusiast. There are three different sizes and so many different themes. There are journals for college students, golfers, wedding planners, campers, teachers, gardeners, cooks, new mothers, readers, and dozens more. There is no going wrong with this product as a holiday gift for that environmentally aware and creative friend, family member, co-worker, or complete stranger.

That sister of yours sounds like a pest.
Fabulous! I always had a journal as well, and always hid it from my sister. Many times I forgot where i had hidden it!
Great review! Sounds great… Sister does sound like a bit of a pest, but I guess thats what they are great for!
I love this idea! I wish it was around when I was growing up. It would have kept my brother out of my things! Good luck and great review!
