OOPS…I mistakenly posted the following on your sister site: [It should be posted here.]
=============
Well, in an “older post” of the Top Stories I saw an article about Carnaval. The costumes worn were mentioned and the picture shown with the article displays a Venetian carnival mask. It never occurred to me before, but since that mask was extremely beautiful and interesting, I pondered about the other masks in existence that I’ve never seen. Because of their asthetic value, I would like to use that mask–or another that is probably just as beautiful–as a wall ornament (like a picture or a painting would be used on the wall).
[...] can also win a copy of Brave New Films 5th Anniversary Activist Collection right here at GlobalShift – but the contest ends tonight, February 15, 2010 at midnight. So [...]

Falling in love abroad is a bad idea unless you can stay abroad. Why put yourself through the heartbreak and heartache?
Sara Harding’s post, “Passports: To Carry or Not to Carry”, was very informative with info about passport issues while traveling.
liked the article on swiss chocolate tours, as a baker good to know the factories that give tours
I like the article entitled “Pancake Tuesday!” We had pancakes here one day early — sort of a “pancake President’s Day”.
I especially appreciated the How To Travel Light and Still Look Fabulous post – as a former travel agent I’ve traveled extensively and should be a real pro at this. But I never get it right. I always pack too much (heavy) and then the wrong things at that! I need all the help I can get!
Also appreciate learning about Radiant Results: Momondo – sounds like just what we need.
i liked the post A Warm Place For The Homeless To Escape The Cold its so sad eil Donovan, executive director of the Washington-based nonprofit advocacy group National Coalition for the Homeless, estimates that nationwide more than 700,000 people are homeless, up 12,000 from last year
